Safety of Green Tea Focus
Safety of Green Tea Focus
When considering taking a supplement like Green Tea Focus it’s important to be sufficiently convinced about its safety. After all, it’s not easy to know what supplement is good for you and what is just promoted as good for you by the maker of the product. Green Tea Focus is comprised of L-Theanine and caffeine.
Where Does L-Theanine Originate?
In the case of L-Theanine, a little history is in order. L-theanine is not something created in a lab out of a selection of questionable ingredients and then sold to an unsuspecting public. In fact, L-theanine is one of the naturally occurring parts of green tea, black tea and even some free-growing mushrooms. Therefore, L-Theanine is in drinks millions of people consume every day and in some meals that contain mushrooms too.
L-Theanine itself is water soluble, so taking it in pill form with water is perfectly suitable. Amino acids are component parts of protein and L-Theanine is one of these.
Green tea is known to be especially healthy as it contains many amino acids and antioxidants that replace what the body sometimes loses. In fact, L-Theanine is an amino acid and antioxidant too.
Early Medical Research
Early medical research discovered the benefits of L-Theanine for stress reduction to weight loss. In some studies, damaging lipids in the blood stream were reduced and obesity was reduced.
In the case of two drugs that actively fight cancer, idarubicin and doxorubicin, a dose of L-Theanine regularly helped to boost the prevention of tumors that these two drugs already did excellent work towards.
In some studies, L-theanine was shown to have a relaxing effect on the mind and also helped with having a more peaceful night of sleep, though the additive doesn’t specifically cause one to feel sleepy.
L-Theanine and Caffeine
Research by several medical centers has been conducted over the last few years to explore the benefits of L-Theanine alone, Caffeine alone, and when the two are combined as is the case with Green Tea Focus.
With L-theanine, it had been found that alpha wave activity in the brain was increased after taking it. This led people to be more alert and be able to maintain their attention span for long periods of time. Being an amino acid, it was found that the brain responded well to more l-Theanine and cognitive function was boosted.
Green Tea Focus
Green Tea Focus combines L-Theanine and caffeine in a 2-1 mixture that in studies have shown to be the most effective.
These two components together have been demonstrated in a number of research studies to provide improved speed, better accuracy when quickly switching between tasks and an improved ability to stay focused on the tasks at hand. Alertness and overall accuracy were as good or better than when taking caffeine alone.
Results were evident in as little as 30 minutes, whereas with caffeine it typically took almost an hour to achieve slightly lower performance benefits.
As Green Tea Focus only includes caffeine and L-theanine, we know that it’s safe to take. Caffeine has been consumed for centuries and l-theanine is part of green tea, so the history of regular consumption goes back centuries.
